Mercedes-Benz GLA Audio Upgrade

Stephen, a music enthusiast, knew just too well when purchasing a new MB GLA model the sound system there won’t be anything special. And when the car first arrived, it was exactly the case.
Original Setup:
- Basic Mercedes sound system
- An 8″ active boot subwoofer
- No dedicated amplifier
- Low volume output
- Basic sound quality
Fortunately, we were prepared for this situation well in advance for his Mercedes stereo upgrade. Stephen organized a trip to a wine tasting event in South Australia and he left the car with us for the week. When he got back, he went to collect his upgraded vehicle straight from the nearby airport.
New Setup:
- MATCH M 5DSP – DSP Amplifier
- AUDIO SYSTEM Evo – Front speakers replaced
- Centre speaker replaced
- Custom-tuned stage
- Loudness, clarity
- Plug and Play upgrade to the MBUX system
Apart from the 1-week free airport parking we happily provided, he got a custom-tuned stage with new speakers powered by a DSP amplifier, all installed in the backstage of the car. A great solution for the new GLA and as he said: “I’m loving the new sound!”
